Tollinton Market Map

The Tollinton Market has undergone a magnificent transformation and now boasts a beautiful appearance that is attracting visitors from far and wide. We’re pleased to announce that while business has already resumed, the official grand opening is scheduled to take place after Eid.

With its stunning new look, it is now our collective responsibility to maintain its cleanliness and keep it free from encroachments. To turn this vision into reality, we recently held an important meeting where a groundbreaking system was introduced. The market has been thoughtfully divided into various sections, with each section assigned to a dedicated individual. These individuals will be responsible for the upkeep of their respective areas, ensuring cleanliness and preventing any unauthorized obstructions.

This remarkable initiative is the result of Tariq Javed Sahib’s twenty years of unwavering dedication and hard work. What many once doubted has finally come to fruition. To effectively manage this new structure, Tariq Javed Sahib has formed a committee, dividing the market into distinct sections and assigning clear responsibilities to everyone involved.

As you may have seen in the accompanying video, these sections are easily identifiable by their distinctive colors. Here’s a breakdown of some of the key assignments:

The front section, prominently marked in yellow, has been entrusted to Faizan Sahib.

The Mutton section, along with the shops in front of it, is now under the care of Zulfiqar Sahib.

Other key individuals who have taken on significant responsibilities for their respective colored sections include: Mana Shah Bukhari Sahib, Akbar Ali Teepu, Mubeen Sahib (who is specifically responsible for the birds section), Usman Zia Sahib, Waheed Sahib, Mian Zahid Sahib, Anees Ur Rehman Sahib, Mian Aqeel Sahib, Abubakar Sahib, Umair Bhatti Sahib, and Ubaid Ur Rehman Sahib.

All these individuals are tasked with ensuring that no one places goods outside their designated areas, sets up unauthorized counters, or contributes to litter and dirt. To maintain these high standards, regular meetings will be held every week, ten days, or fifteen days. During these meetings, any complaints regarding specific sections will be addressed and resolved.

Furthermore, a positive reinforcement system is in place: the section that demonstrates the best cleanliness and organization will be recognized, appreciated, and celebrated!

We are excited about this new chapter for Tollinton Market and look forward to a cleaner, more organized, and thriving business environment for everyone.
